A native of Cork City, I started researching my own family history over twenty years ago and discovered that my ancestors hailed from all across the British Isles; Scotland, England, Wales, Northern Ireland and Ireland.  Finding this information whet my appetite for more and the further back I traced my family, the more questions I had.  Who were these people?  Where did they live?  Where did they come from?   Why did they emigrate?  What was life like for them?  Studying for my Diploma in Genealogy  has helped me answer many of those questions about my own family.

If you need help tracing your own ancestors please email your request to me, outlining any relevant information you have already gathered.  jeffersgenealogy@gmail.com  I will then carry out an initial complimentary assessment of your requirements before advising you on how to proceed with your case and the costs that will be involved.  It is not possible to put a cost on producing a family history as each one is unique, but I assure you that all costs will be agreed in advance of the work, so there will be no nasty surprises.
